Stuntin' On These Hoes

This is an idea that I got from one of my boys and it worked pretty well with 5 people so it should work pretty well here. [pause?]. The idea behind it is to play music that you are pretty positive that no one else has heard and will like. For example: If I were to start it off I wouldn't play Lupe, or Blu, or Blame One, or Maxwell, or the Beatles...etc, etc. because 90% of the people here have heard of them. You can post hip hop too, I put it in this section because I didn't want it to be limited to JUST hip-hop namean??? When we did it, we all left with some great music that none of us have heard before, so I'm hoping to have the same effect here. There are three rules:
1. Previews (Obviously)
2. Links (Obviously)
3. No hating (Thats just counter-productive)

Make sense?

Now the one I will kick it off with is jazz...because, well....jazz is the shit. This is by the RH Factor. It's a group made by Roy Hargrove, I met him while I was in Cali at this bar, and his band was dope.

This might be more known but I'm but I don't think I have ever heard it mentioned on UB before. Its a remix project by K-Salaam & Beatnick called Never Can Say Goodbye, where they basically remix some classic oldies. Like Cherie Amor by Stevie Wonder and Never Can Say Goodbye by Michael Jackson, Lets Get it On by Marvin Gaye, etc. Its dope My favprite track is below:

You Can Download/Listen To the whole project here:

Fuck you.

I know you've heard of his son, Jeff Buckley (who did probably the most famous cover of Hallelujah), but Tim Buckley is one of the greatest singers the world has ever seen. His voice can be considered alienating (not to mention the arrangements..), and certainly not for everyone, but it's one of the most moving things I've ever encountered.

You guys may know about this album but I don't think I ever heard anyone ever talk about this album. Dude was 13 when he dropped this shit. He spits some shit you wouldn't expect from a 13 year old and holds his own against AZ, Prodigy, etc. In 1996...not many niggas can say they are fucking with 1996 AZ and Mobb Deep. Check this shit (if you haven't).
