computer science grads make DOUGH. My friend graduated last year, and his entry-level position he's at now makes 63K a year, not including benefits and shit. With room to improve, the only downfall is that you have to be really built for that lifestyle, and most people arent. You gotta be real anti-social to do some shit like that. Psychology doesn't seem like a risk to me because it's such a broad career you can study criminals to studying animals...almost every job has a need for a psychologist. Shit, the people who make ads on TV get a lot of help from psychologists. To me, if you understand sociology, psychology, and economics you truly can succeed in life. This dude I met, an economics major, dropped out sophomore years in college, taught himself psychology and group psychology and went into stocks. He's a millionaire now. Which makes so much fucking sense, but idk if I want that life for me. |

this. you always hear people say they are going for psychology. i bet hardly any of them go through it all. off-topic, but I also get tired of bitches saying they wanna be teachers and/or nurses. i feel like I NEVER hear anything but those 3 options anymore. |

The optimist in me is hoping that with the influx of teachers and nurses there will be more (and better) schools built, and more hospitals to tend to the sick but the if you go all the way through with a psychology major, and fail..that's your fault. you did something wrong. Psychology is literally endless. |
