If so, do you ever get pissed off after your workouts?

Typically an hour or 2 after I'm done with my work outs
and the endorphin high wears off I'm so easily irritable.

It's ridiculous yo, lol like I wanna put people through walls and shit
It doesn't help that I have a short temper either

I thought working out was suppose to do the opposite. I worked out at least 5 days a week for a good two years while I did football in high school, and afterwards I never wanted to put someone threw a wall after a workout.

lol yo i don't know

Like I'll be relaxed as fuck for an hour or 2, maybe 3
Just because my body's burnt out from all of it
but then my temper just kicks in for no reason

do you think it might have to do with the elevated testosterone levels because I don't do bodybuilding routines, I go with strength training routines

is that all you do all the time? i never usually stick to one routine for more than three weeks, whether its endurance strength or hypertrophy.

Well I started back in August '11, and got lazy in November but when December hit I got back in

I started out doing hypertrophy till november (didn't work, and I got mentally burnt out quick, hence why november I fucked around)

I went with Endurance training in december but I felt it was a waste of time since I wasn't trying to get cut (already skinny and fairly cut)

So this month I've been going with strength training, I prefer it over the other 2 and have been seeing results a little faster

Just ordered Mark Rippetoe's book "Practical Programming"
It's a tried and true method for strength training, and I'm going to try a sample routine this week.. So yeah, I'm going to stick with that lol

No problems with it
I wonder what Zvornik has to say about this issue.

i dont think youre working out hard enough, cuz youre supposed to feel relaxed. You should be amped during the workout not after.

even though sometimes after I good workout, I be feeling myself shit. feeling like I can punch through brick walls n shit. So I go down to local elementary schools, cuz we're about the same height. I mean, they a little taller...but I hold my own

Nah i'm working out hard enough, I'm only using heavy weights and starting to ditch the iso movements, focusing more on compound lifts

the 3-5 rep range demands that you need to use heavy weights in order to progress in strength not hypertrophy

And I am amped during my workouts lol, that's the only reason I can continue to work out after all these months
If I get bored with something I don't stick with it

dunno i cant find myself sticking to that rep range, i feel like im wearing my body down in an unhealthy way, and anyways usually after any one of my workouts i have a hard time moving afterwards. mabey you should take shorter breaks in between sets?

really? that rep range isn't meant to fatigue your muscles
working in that rep range while continually adding weight every week or so trains your CNS to lift more and more
but that rep range is only really meant for compound lifts, not isolation movements or machines

I don't know maybe, how long is your break?

I take a 1-2 minute break between sets

My weights aren't heavy enough so instead of adding weight I just do more reps.

I usually take 30 to 45 second break, but that's just cause I feel that's best for me and shows results
